A&T Chevrolet Goes to Bat with Pennridge Little League with Chevy Youth Baseball Equipment Donation

L-R: Dave Reiss, Pennridge Little League president; Jeff Allen, A&T Chevrolet president;

We're continuing our commitment to our community and the teamwork taught through youth sports by supporting Pennridge Little League through the Chevy Youth Baseball Program. This year the program provided Pennridge Little League with seven dozen baseballs, six batting T’s and two sets of Rawlings Umpire Equipment.

Chevy Youth Baseball is a grassroots initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve. Because of our commitment to this program, youth baseball participants will once again have the chance to attend a youth clinic with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Our president, Jeff Allen, said it best: “This is one of our favorite programs. We fully support the spirit of Pennridge Little League. Their main concern is to give our children a positive experience of fun and development through the game of baseball. We’re just happy to be able to help.”

In addition to the equipment donation, we are also a proud team sponsor and are looking forward to once again driving the Opening Day Parade dignitaries in our finest vehicles.

A&T Chevrolet-Subaru Celebrates St. Patrick's Day with the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce

A little rain wasn't about to stop the festivities in store for the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce's first St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celtic Fest.

We were happy to join in on the fun, driving Sellersville's Mayor Hufnagle, Perkasie's Mayor Hollenbach and State Rep. Staats along the route, which began in Sellersville and ended in Perkasie.

Congratulations to everyone who worked very hard to make this event happen. See more photos from the parade here on the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page.

Ready, Set, Go! Perkasie Cub Scout Pack 196 Annual Pinewood Derby Racers Compete for Speed and Design

A few of the back roads were drifting with wind-blown snow but that didn’t deter the racers of Perkasie Cub Scout Pack 196 from gathering at Deep Run Presbyterian Church for the annual Pinewood Derby Friday, January 30th.

Nearly 40 scouts proudly showed off their racers, hoping to capture one of the several gleaming prizes being offered. From classic car designs to objects such as barbells, lemons, sneakers and Wii remotes, the creativity on display was amazing.

On hand to judge the designs were three local auto industry professionals: Tom Mayberry, Collision Shop Manager of A&T Chevrolet-Subaru; Rob Ruggiero, Owner of Ruggiero’s Auto Body and Rob Kemmerer, Service Manager for Bucks County Auto Care. Each judge was tasked with choosing winners in three categories: Most Creative (Connor Smith), Best Workmanship (Dakota Leopold) and Coolest Car (Aidan Goodwin).

A&T Chevrolet-Subaru Collision Shop Manager Tom Mayberry inspects the designs.

The main event – the race itself – took place with each car racing six times to determine whose racers were the three fastest. When the dust cleared the overall winner was Josh Lackner (Webelos Den), with Stephen Glaudel (Tiger Den) in second place and Ben McKay (Tiger Den) in third place.

Starting the New Year by Giving Back

Happy New Year from A&T Chevrolet-Subaru! We hope you all enjoyed a terrific holiday season with family and friends and want to take this opportunity to thank you for your business. We take pride in providing value to our customers.

This is also a favorite time of year, when we give back to the organizations who serve us every day. Earlier this month we presented year-end donations to the Sellersville Fire Department and Grand View Health Foundation.

Holiday Happenings at A&T Chevrolet-Subaru

It's been a busy holiday season here at A&T Chevrolet-Subaru!

We started in November, making a donation to the Parker Hannifin Corp. "Bikes for Kids" campaign. Read more about it here.

Jeff Allen, A&T Chevrolet-Subaru president presents Ted Fravel of  the Porter Instrument Division
of Parker Hannifin a $500 donation to purchase bikes for children in need.

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we kicked off the Subaru Share the Love campaign by featuring our local charity, Keystone Opportunity Center.

T Garber of Keystone Opportunity Center talks about the program with Landis Supermarkets' Bill Delaney
There's still time to visit the showroom to "Fill the Car" and to also buy a new Subaru. Everyone who purchases a vehicle at A&T Subaru will be able to have $250.00 donated to one of five charities: ASCPA, Make-a-Wish, Meals on Wheels, National Park Foundation or Keystone Opportunity Center. To learn more about the mission of Keystone Opportunity Center, watch this video.

We're also proud to be the sponsor of the very first official Sellersville Christmas Ornament.

It was unveiled at the annual Winterfest on December 2, 2014, with Jeff Allen presenting the first ornament to Mayor Hufnagle.

Ornaments are available for purchase for only $5 from both A&T Chevrolet and A&T Subaru as well as other Sellersville merchants.

With Winterfest comes the annual Winter Forest.

Held at the Sellersville Museum, it features trees decorated by local businesses and community groups. Attendees are asked to vote for their favorites with coins, which are then donated to Pennridge FISH.

We continued to promote the Share the Love campaign, joining Keystone Opportunity Center in the Souderton Holiday Parade. Everyone had a good time, despite the rain.

Later that day, we helped Perkasie usher in the holiday season at their annual Tree Lighting.

And now, as the year comes to a close, we want to thank you for your support and your loyalty and wish you happiest of holidays and a terrific 2015.

A&T Subaru Kicks Off Subaru Share the Love with Open House and “Fill the Car” for Keystone Opportunity Center Saturday, November 22, 2014

How many groceries and household items can you fit in your car? A&T Subaru is going to push their showroom models to the limit this holiday season, with your help, in their “Fill a Car” campaign to benefit their local “Share the Love charity, Keystone Opportunity Center. “Fill the Car” kicks off this Saturday, November 22nd from 10am-1pm with a Keystone Meet & Greet and Open House for A&T Subaru’s freshly-remodeled showroom at 801 Bethlehem Pike, Sellersville.

During the “Fill the Car” Open House event, guests will be able to meet with representatives of Keystone Opportunity Center to learn more about their mission of housing the homeless, feeding the hungry and educating adults and children as well as tour the A&T Subaru facility. Light refreshments will be served.

Everyone who brings an item from Keystone Opportunity Center’s wish list (available at www.keystoneopportunity.org) will be entered into a raffle for three door prizes courtesy of A&T Subaru: a pair of tickets to a show at the Sellersville Theater, a Garmin GPS or a gift card to the Washington House.

But that’s not all. Now in its seventh year, “Share the Love,” is a charitable program that allows customers purchasing a new Subaru between November 20, 2014-January 2, 2015 to choose a charity to receive $250.00 from Subaru of America (SOA) up to $15 million.

“Last year $2,500.00 was raised for Keystone Opportunity Center,” said Jeff Allen, A&T Subaru president. “This year we’d like to top that. And fill the car several times with items they need.”

In addition to A&T Subaru’s local charity, Keystone Opportunity Center, the seventh-annual “Share the Love” program will deliver donations to the following four national charities:

• ASPCA®
• Make-A-Wish®
• Meals On Wheels Association of America®
• National Park Foundation

“Subaru of America, Inc. and our local retailers are excited to support all of our charities on both national and local levels in this year’s “Share the Love” program,” said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. “Our customers have a philanthropic spirit and giving back to the communities in which we live and work in is important to all of us at Subaru of America.”
